Our Community Centre is fortunate to have a small dedicated team of volunteers who help us run smoothly. To show our appreciation, we kindly ask that you respect their time.

Here are some rules to follow when booking our facilities:

1. Please arrive on time for your booking. If you are more than 20 minutes late without prior notice, your booking may be cancelled.
2. If you plan on having an outside supplier such as entertainers or a bouncy castle, please make sure they arrive no earlier than your booked time and have collected their equipment before your time slot ends.
3. When booking your event, please make sure to include enough time for setup to prepare for your event. This is a minimum of 30 minutes either side.
4. Please also include enough time for clean-up after your booking. You will need to sweep/vacuum the floor, wash, dry and put away any crockery used that belongs to the centre, and clean and replace tables and chairs to the store room.
5. We have limited refuse space, so please take away your own rubbish and recycling.
6. If you are booking an event aimed at a celebration for the age range of 14-18 years old please contact us before booking online. You must have advance confirmation from the charity prior to making and paying for your booking. If you do not seek prior confirmation your event will be cancelled and refunded.

Here are some things to keep in mind that may cause your deposit not to be refunded:

1. Arriving late or not showing up at all.
2. Not cleaning the hall to the same degree that you received it.
3. Exceeding your booking time by not being ready to leave after fulfilling your clean-up obligations or your guests not leaving in a timely manner.
4. Causing damage to the centre and its equipment. Depending on the severity of the damage, further compensation may be sought.
5. Using the centre for purposes other than those permitted, as outlined in our terms and conditions.
